Due to Bad Brains having to cancel their festival appearance, the U.K. SUBS were booked to replace them at the Azkena Rock Festival on the Friday schedule.

UK SUBS SUSTITUYEN A BAD BRAINS EN EL CARTEL DEL AZKENA ROCK 2009

La banda británica UK Subs sustituyen en el cartel del Azkena Rock 2009 a los estadounidenses Bad Brains, que causan baja de última hora tras suspender unilateralmente su actuación en el festival sin ofrecer a la organización ningún argumento de peso.
UK Subs es una legendaria banda de punk-rock formada en 1976 en Londres por el vocalista Charlie Harper. Inicialmente conocidos como The Subversives, los UK Subs consiguieron rápidamente colar varios de sus hits entre las 40 canciones más escuchadas en el Reino Unido. La banda ha registrado numerosos cambios de músicos y artistas de la talla de Ozzy Osbourne o Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) han llegado a formar parte del grupo, siempre liderado por Harper. UK Subs actuarán a las 20.25 h en el escenario Lux Interior sustituyendo a Bad Brains.
