Another new album (recorded at Alaska studios), another new line-up (though Steve Roberts was no stranger to the Subs drumstool), Japan Today also featured Charlie's Urban Dogs side-kick Knox who would later describe the album as 'un-finished'.
A return to Fall Out too after a two album break, they would go on to release seven of the next twelve albums (we're currently waiting for W!)
Originaly intended to be called 'Jumbo Pack', it was going to be a double album (the mind boggles!)
Guitar duties were split three ways between Knox, Darrel Barth and Alan Lee. Barth left the band part way through recording and was officially replaced by Lee on the 8th of October.
Some good new material (Another Cuba, Warzone, Angel) peppered with cover versions, rapping and an hilarious interview with Yumi Yuki. It's not known if this was staged or was a genuine interview.
Released on black vinyl only with a plain paper inner sleeve. The CD version on Fall Out features completely different artwork.
The Japanese text across the bottom the sleeve reads: 'Tomorrow The World'
