FIVE U.K. Subs albums are set for vinyl re-issues on new colours for this year's Record Store Day on 18 April 2015.

These lovingly reproduced vinyl LP re-issues are being released by 'Let Them Eat Vinyl' as follows...

LETV217LP - HUNTINGTON BEACH (Transparent Green)
LETV219LP - UNIVERSAL (Transparent Yellow)
LETV355LP - JAPAN TODAY (Transparent Red)
LETV356LP - MAD COW FEVER (Transparent Purple)
LETV357LP - NORMAL SERVICE RESUMED (Transparent Blue & Purple)

The most exciting of these releases are the Universal and Normal Service Resumed LPs, which are double vinyls, as they also come with the free live CD that was issued with the original CD album versions.
These live recordings have never before been issued on vinyl and therefore are essential purchases for any U.K. Subs vinyl junkie!

U.K. SUBS RECORD STORE DAY FEATURE Number 2:

>>> UNIVERSAL <<<

Recorded during January and February 2002 and originally released in June of that year, this Subs album was their fourteenth studio album of original material and featured Alan Campbell on guitar, Simon Rankin on bass and Jason Willer on drums.

'Universal' initially appeared on Captain Oi! Records on CD, having it's release party at Charlie's belated birthday bash at the Standard in Walthamstow, London on 20 June. Before this gig Jason - who appears as Jason Dulldrums on this release - decided to leave the band.

Featuring 15 songs, initial copies of the CD came with a free live 16 track CD, recorded in December 2000 with a different line up which included Simon Rankin as additional guitarist to Campbell, Brian Barnes on bass and Pumpy on drums.

The CD was also issued in 2002 in Canada through Burnout Productions, again being issued with the live bonus CD.

The album was then issued on vinyl in February 2004 via Combat Rock/Dirty Punk Records, limited to 1,000 copies, the LP was on green vinyl.

For this new 'Let Them Eat Vinyl' deluxe gatefold vinyl edition, the live album appears on vinyl for the very first time and will be highly sought after by U.K. Subs collectors...
