Daryl Smith, of Captain Oi, provides the background  information for the above:

"With regards to the white labels of Another Kind Of Blues and Brand New Age, they are test pressings. We don’t do promos for our picture disc vinyl (too expensive to give vinyl away for free!), so basically the procedure is that we send the pressing plant the masters and they press it up on normal black vinyl (with a white label so no printing costs) and then send to us to check the sound quality, make sure it doesn’t skip, make sure the tracks are in the right order etc. Once we give the go ahead they then press them as picture discs. We only get 10 test pressings done per release."
